Affect


Affect is an audio-visual response to the dystopian reality of modern day London. With one CCTV camera for every ten people you are likely to be caught on camera over seventy times a day in the city.

The performance uses multiple electronic instruments and a projector to create a holistic sensory experience. 
I wrote five songs and used a variety of mediums, such as film, 3D rendering, laser projection and creative-coding to explore the theme. I also captured footage from a number of open source surveillance cameras which can be viewed online.

The songs were then performed to an audience, with Touchdesigner being used to design the show and project the visuals in realtime.
